Well, I'm a fan of the original show.

I've also seen the etire 2009 Prisoner series On Demand, so...I know how it ends.

The difference in the shows is really interesting. The older show is about the grand conspiracy. It's about the why and who. #6 is working on a puzzle from the inside and his perspective on the whole thing makes him quite sympathetic.

The newer show is more mental, it's about messing with #6 and in turn it's about messing with the viewer. #2 is definitely more of a villain in this one. What you will find out with the 2009 series is that it gives you hard and true facts. It will eventually give you an ending and reasons for the ending. It stops messing with the viewer by the end of the run.

The 1960's show never did stop messing with the viewer. The last two episodes are more destructive to the psyche and perspective of the viewer than anything in the 2009 series.

I liked both for different reasons. But the 2009 series, I'm done with. The story is written and over. The 1960's version still has questions and things to consider, which makes it more worthy of attention in my opinion.
