I just realized something. The logo there is a mix between the Decepticon insignia, and that upside-down "V" symbol on the human military trucks. Just turn the V right side up and it looks like part of this logo.

That Decepticon symbol is a little off. It's got a big V on it. Or is that 5?

That's definitely a V. Could just be there as the roman numeral for 5 or maybe for Victory? I don't see them using any Victory-era Decepticons but maybe there was an Autobot-Decepticon war wherever Optimus is and the Decepticons won.

They've been using that V for a while now. We've seen it with Optimus Prime's head, the new Transformers title logo replaces the A with an upside down V, and whatever the new Earth military team is uses an upside down V. That Decepticon symbol could just be another movie logo and not something actually from the movie. They're really pushing the whole 5/V thing.

Based on Age of Extinction it does seem likely that the Quintesson will be a part of this movie.

That thing hardly looks like it's going to be an intellectual character so I think unless you have the luck and possibly wits of Barricade your to big of a threat not to kill off.

Or maybe it's Knights vs Spartans with The Knights being the Autobots and the Spartans being the Decepticons and the comparisons are disturbingly similar with Autobots being Honorable warriors and peacekeepers like Knights are stereotypically in media and the Spartans often being portrayed as very violent and brutal but with there still being some sort of honorable code in battle.



Crap I feel like writing a fan fic about that concept with maybe some of Game of Thrones style in it...

I figure that they'll be dealing with enough disparate story threads, adding Unicron would only lead to a dismal story and a dismal Unicron. They have Mark's character, the girl and sqeeks, the military guys, the autobots, the decepticons, and whatever o/p is doing out is space, plenty of crap to juggle right now without throwing a half-baked Unicron into the mix. No, he should be saved for a movie unto himself, where he can shine the way he deserves.
