Hey everybody! I didn't see anything posted yet so I thought I'd post it here maybe in the hopes of it getting on the news page. Below are the two links to the official War for Cybertron game site. The first has details on the classes, their abilities and killstreaks! We don't have to squint at the trailer anymore! The second link has some details on the six confirmed multiplayer modes. The modes seem to go as follows:
Deathmatch: Basic free-for-all Deathmatch, highest individual kill score wins, standard.
Team Deathmatch: Two teams fighting for highest kill score, highest team score wins, standard as well.
Code of Power: Capture the Flag with a new name for the most part, completing the 'standard' shooter game modes. This seems to still be a bit different by having smaller, two-and-a-half minute romps to grab the flag that add up to a total score somehow.
Conquest: Three nodes stationed throughout the battlefield that the two factions battle over. Another mode many players should be somewhat familiar with if they've played the likes of Star Wars Battlefront or similar games.
Power Struggle: Similar to Conquest, but instead of fighting for control of three preset stations, a new one will appear on the map every 60 seconds. Most likely a very fast paced mode as a result.
Countdown to Extinction: Reverse of Capture the Flag, essentially; you're battling for a bomb that you must get to the opponent's base and set to detonate. The side whom blows up their opponent's base first earns a point. Implied to be split into smaller segments as well.
