Hello. I'm pretty much in lurk mode on here for the most part, but I do have a question or more like asking for some guidance.
I'm trying to collect the reissues that were TRU exclusives a couple years ago. I've got a list of what they retailed at the time, but I was wondering how much would too much be to pay for them? Of the ones I've gotten so far, all of Ebay, I've gotten under their original retail price, but they're lesser characters. I did score Ultra Magnus for $32 plus shipping which I thought was somewhat impressive.

Anyway, any input would be greatly appreciated.

I only have 6 of them thus far, but I have had some good luck at finding them on craigslist in the past (not sure if you are in the states). Most of them I would look at $30 shipped, but that is just me. More for Astrotrain, Jazz, The Jets, Powermaster Prime. Sadly my budget is hurting right now. The guy I found on Craigslist had 18 of them, $20 each, I got Prime, Magnus, skywarp, Jazz, and Starscream. He was trying to get $200 for the other 13, and sadly, I didnt have the cash to pony-up at the time (still have his email address in hopes that he may have them when I have money). I usually see people advertising 4 or 5 of them in a lot for $20 per figure in my area on Craigslist about once a month (although it has been slow lately).

Depends on which ones you are talking about, and whether they are loose, inm box or in a sealed box.

A few more details and I can give you a rough idea of what you should be paying per item.

i scored my few TRU's @ TRU; Prowl, Optimus, Tracks, Hoist, Grapple and Magnus.
i got them on sale because for some reason, where i live, people don't know what the heck the fuss is about.

IMHO, because of the burns received by secondary dealers, and wanting to lessen the disappointment of prices, i do this:

cars or seekers (Prowl, etc) no higher than 40 each.
Optimus/Magnus- 50, tops
i still hate myself for not getting the Powermaster Prime at retail, because now, sheesh, i doubt i will ever find a fair price for him.

I havent seen Prime on ebay for under a hundred, and the jets can be had for between $50.00-$80.00 from what ive seen on ebay lately. Dont know about anywhere else. Prime is going to be your most expensive one.
