What sacrifices have you made for your TF collection?
To date, since the movie has come out I have sold my xbox360 ($300), modded psp ($160) and my relatively new mountain bike ($500) to keep my TF collection rolling. On average however, I would have to say that I got back about 75% of what I originally spent on these items. I am now up to 150 transformers!!!!
and do not regret for a single second the sacrifices I've made. Most of the items listed above were just sitting anyway. I think its better to get rid of some undesirables than outspend ones self and want it all....choices, choices, choices.

Well I'm sacrificing my cybertron collection and some extra Alternators so I have money for the new movie figures as well as the new Encore Re-issues.
I wish I had something else to sacrifice instead of part of my collection

I have yet to sell anything to fuel my addiction. I just wait a save for any figures I'm after.
Although, I have been buying less food than I used to. Which is good. It wasn't healthy food anyway.
I may sell off some of my older tfs that I have pretty low love for, if the money and demand for them is good.

I sacrificed a small goat. The stains just refuse to come out no matter how many times I shampoo the carpet.

if you don't have one, get a job?
If you do, work extra hours?
While I don't mind about Cybertron, I cannot condone selling one of the greatest Autobot car lines ever. Alternators are a must keep!
I'm sure there's something else you can do to avoid selling your collections?

The only thing I sacrifice is a little more of my sanity. Since wifey walked out, I've got much more disposable income. I notice with every lull in product, I come ever closer to achieving more goals in my collecting. Once I meet some of them, I raise the bar and branch out more. Therefore losing more of my sanity. See how it all comes 'round? Otherwise, bills are always paid and all my responsibilities are taken care of. So losing my mind is a small price to pay to acquire things I love.

Yes I re-model houses. It's just that I buy more than I can keep up with. With Bills and my spending habit I have to do something. I'm more of a G1 purists anyway. I'm NOT selling my Cybertron Optimus, Megs, Galvatron, King Starscream, or Primus's. Mostly the Scouts and deluxes.
I tend to keep Optimus, Megs, and Starscreams from all the toy lines. They are my fav. I spend alot of money buying from BigBadToyStore too.....Bad Habit. My Collection is Massive
What can I say....I live beyond my means

I don't sacrifice anything.
I have a job and I put $$ aside for my toys.

Not a sheeple.
Think for yourself, don't let the magic TV box and social media do the thinking for you.
Question EVERYTHING!!
Just because you have a youtube review channel doesn't make you special.
I look forward to attending a Botcon soon only to settle matters with several idiots in person (yes this is a threat).

Nah bud, Karma catches everyone eventually. Or God or what have you. She'll realize her mistakes far too late to come home. And thanks for the compliments. Keeping the confidence up keeps the ladies looking. You know how we roll man. Or whatever the kids are saying these days.

I like to think of myself as a kind of 'Kharmic Avenger' (East Coast).

Sigified. Not sure how long I'll keep this one but I thought it'd give everyone a chance to be nice and baffled by the comment out of context. Had to get rid of Hot Rod agreeing with me though as my sig quotes would have been getting really out of hand otherwise. I can always switch back, he agrees with me all the time

The worst I've done is skip lunch so I could buy the Classics Grimlock. I was going to eat at McDonalds anyway, so buying the toy was probably better for my health.

Yeah, my wife and I are also very responsible. We pay our bills, retirement, etc. and then we each get a chunk for the month to blow on what ever we want. As far as Cybertron goes I am thankful that Hasbro is cleaning out their old stock due to the popularity of TF. I thought cybertron had passed me by but when I began to see them again at my local walmarts I knew I had to sell some stuff.
Here is what I bought this morning with part of my mountain bike money. Funny that TFs come in such big and small sizes. I love that fact that the big dude changes into a freakin planet!!! Even when my twin bro, who's not much into TF pulled out Cyberton Primus he had to admit that this was his favorite one.
