Man I just wish you guys knew what's going on. Next thing you'll know is one year later asking where are all the TF movie figures.

Is it me or is the only good thing left about Kmart the rarely found Ceasar's Pizzas?

well now I know it's true.I'm always saying K-mart is the last place I'd go for Transformers. The isles are always cluttered and the prices are always about $3 too high.

I had a couple of roommates who both worked for Wal-Mart, and they pretty much said the in general, the managers didn't really care about the state of the store in certain areas. Others areas, like the Martha Stewert sections needed to be spotless because of contract obligations. The totally brand new K-Mart that had opened here in Macon shut down after only a couple years. The only K-Mart left in town is on the north end, but only because there isn't a Wal-mart or Target.

The K-Mart in Longview, TX also has always looked like a tornado hit it. I'll find transformers scattered on 4 different isles.

Dude, WE DO know what's going on, YOU'RE the clueless one. We're not talking about the *general* lack of TF movie figures, we're talking *specifically* about K-Mart. Maybe this should have been posted in "General" instead of "Toys" but, then again, you're the only one confused by this discussion.

Now, back on topic. I remember the department store chain Hills, too, and I remember when K-Mart was a nice place to shop. But every K-mart I've ever been to since K-Mart had their financial troubles has sucked. K-mart is dead, killed by Wal-Mart, it just doesn't know it yet. Hey! Its like a zombie department store!  :P They should rename it Zombie-Mart! :P

Well, it is cool to learn that there are still *some* nice K-Marts out there, but it looks like the chain as a whole just needs to be put out of its misery.

I recall a time when it was all my area had, and it was
always a nice place to shop (The Eatery!).

This was THE place to get Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.
For every Transformer I had, I had 3 or so Turtle Toys (Technodrome FTW!).
TFWIKI wrote:According to Hasbro, toys that represent flying characters are given more stringent drop tests and rounded/collapsible bits, as children (and the kind of adults who buy Transformers, actually) are more prone to throwing these figures around or ramming them into things (or people).

Haha, funny this topic should spring up. I was just at a K-Mart about a week ago, and I thought the same thing. The action figure aisle looked like it was hit by a tornado. TF toys were literally mixed in with every other kind of action figure - Spiderman, Power Rangers, etc. However, I did go back a few days later, and, much to my suprise, it was completely cleaned up and re-organized.

The Kmart in my town isn't too bad.
They could use some brighter lights maybe,
but it's not dirty. They do have TF stuff in like 3 places though. Maybe that's the charm of it.
Heck that's where I got my Classics Jetfire and Voyager Movie Megs. They may have cost 2 dollars more than Walmart but the
boxes had nice sharp corners and they didn't look
picked through like at a Walmart.
They also just had a 10% off TF sale like 2-3 weeks ago
and I paid the same price for Barricade as at Walmart
and Target.
I think they just have more room sometimes than they know what to do with so they put multiple spots of the same stuff.
I know I much prefer their methods of stocking to Walmart.
I hate how Walmart puts all those pallets in the middle of a walking path and you either halve to squeeze through
or walk all the way around. Kmart doesn't do that crap.
I do think Kmart needs a major redecorating job done
to improve it's image. If the Kmarts were updated and
resembled the Sears Grands, that may help them.

The K-Mart around where I live isn't that crappy even though no one shops there. The store is organized too.

Today I thought "what the heck I'll see if they have any newer movie figures". They had Voyagers Ironhide & Ratchet, a robot replica Bumblebee, the typical shelf warmers. Then I was surprised to see the most deluxes in weeks. They had one of the following: Brawl, Protoform Starscream, Arcee, Payload, Dreadwing, and Longarm.

I bought Longarm and for being a video game figure he kicks butt. He is heavily armored, has some cool automorphs, and has a big arm cannon.
