I was wondering as well. Someone said August, but that can't be right, can it?

I understand the holding back because of the success and upcoming releases of the Movie/Allspark line, but several months late...either everyone's going to get excited, or everyone's going to get bored while they wait. Because many kids who don't buy Movie toys are going to want Animated figs.

I would think they would release them between Jan-April. while the series is still fresh in the kids minds. Even June seems a long ways. Does anyone know how long the series will air before they resort to reruns?

This series is shorter than Cybertron so I think there are plans for another season or so. With a new episode every week, and 29 episodes, that makes for, duh, 29 weeks of shows before reruns. That sounds good.

Weapon: Switch Blade Tail
It was originally supposed to be a February to March time frame.
Then it was postponed (I'm not sure a reason was given??) to June at the earliest, but we've also heard that it could be August as well. However, that might come from confusion between the two new lines (Animated and C/U 2.0) and C/U 2.0 is due in August/September (originally June, I believe). Everything was pushed back.

My guess is they're overcompensating so they don't have a problem like they did this year with the Movie line. (That was nothing short of terrible. I found it (and still do) to be absolutely ridiculous.)

People keep saying "Well, we're seeing packaged Animated figures, so they must be coming soon!" and that's just not the case.

Voyager Class Optimus Prime (Earth Mode), Voyager Class Megatron (Cybertron Mode), Deluxe Class Ratchet and many others have yet to have a production (or test shot) sample hit eBay yet. Protos, yes, but those are a long ways from being finished products.

I have a feeling it will be June-ish before we see the Animated line, and I fully agree that it's stupid to postpone it, while the show will have been on for at least six months...

Building demand is one thing...
Forcing people to buy these off of eBay to get their fix is another.

Ah well. Gives me a chance to save up I guess. I'm gonna need it too. =\

Hopefully classics 2.0 isnt push backed far if at all...I'm probably skipping animated to go wild on classics 2.0. If 2.0 lives up to the hype, then i would rather get 2 of the same classic fig then 1 animated and 1 classic. But that's just me.
