Which FAB would YOU recommend?
I only have one: Ironhide. He's pretty nifty. So, which one's next? You decide.

Bought for my son's birthday FAB Bumblebee & Barricade. Both of them look very nice with alt mode (nice fitting tight seams), easy to transform. Overall I like Bumblebee more because he stands better while in bot mode and is more poseable. These little fun suckers sure surprised me on the good side.
Cheers!

I really like Ratchet. He's like a deluxe version, although granted the articulation is a little off (particularly in the leg area).

No, they don't, but I am an emergency vehicle when the need calls for it, so it's all spiffing.

Starscream is pretty cool.

"We, Decepticons, are a swell bunch. And boy do we have fun." - Starscream
"You're one of...those, Never understood why any self respecting Decepticon would choose auto-mobile as his vehicle mode when he could have flight." - Starscream
"For a guy hearing voices of the dead, you've got a pretty insensitive view of Mental Health" - Bumblebee

If you're going to get only one FAB, make it Frenzy. If only for the fact he's the only transforming Frenzy avaiable. His alt mode is not accurate to the movie and he's got more kibble hanging off him than Break (the Beast Wars Neo Penguin) but the robotic parts are accurate, he poses well and features a fairly strong disc shooting action.

I would say Frenzy for the reasons listed above or Megatron because it has a much better paint job than Leader or Voyager class.

Dude, I cut my gerbil's head off with that disc. Fairly strong shooting, indeed!

I picked up FAB Frenzy and FAB Ironhide.
They're okay, but I didn't think the posability was much good.
Given that they're aimed younger than the deluxes and voyagers, I was surprised at the relative complexity of the transformations. FAB Ironhide has a fairly tricky transformation back to truck. Getting the pieces to snap together is a bit awkward. FAB Frenzy has an inventive asymmetrical transformation.
The main difference I found was not in the ease of transformation, but in the lack of pointy edges and small parts, and tougher plastic. They're not as crisp, and they feel sorta like good transformers that've been dumbed down a bit.
Around here they've been selling for the same price as the deluxes, which puts me off them, cuz they don't have the same detail and articulation. If they were priced 20 or 30% cheaper, they'd make a much more attractive buy.
