Do yourself a favor and just get the Japanese ones. if you wait to see you might miss out on them completely.

Agreed. I don't see them going into reissues again. Repaints (since they always do repaints), but no direct reissues. I'd still like to see them reissue at least some of the headmasters, but I'm not holding my breath for that either.

My vote for the HOF goes to my favorite Transformer, Kup, to the Headmasters (who still need new figures that aren't just the characters without their master components) and to seibertron.com for for being the ultimate TF resource.

QFT if you wait you will miss out. Let's just say they do reissue these two, first they will be an exclusive to one store then your going to have to try and find one like M.P. Starscream. The only thing that will keep most people from buying these in the U.S. will be the price point. So buy now and don't miss out.

What about trailbreaker. e-hobby reissued them so the mould must not be in that bad shape. I just let one go on ebay because i have hope for him. But if it would have been sunstreaker i probably would have won it.

That etoys japan that has been running ads on this site seems to have pretty reasonable prices on them, I don't know what their shipping rates run, but if I decide to get them, I may try their site out. Now that I have Encore 05 and 06, I have a bad feeling that I am gonna need them all.

The shipping price costs more at etoys. Cause they are in China. Not the U.S. I've tried but I'm glad I decided not to buy from them.

Thanks! Well I may certainly do that by getting TakaraTomy's version. While Hasbro either takes long or they don't. The Soundwave reissue was just luck last year.

I agree. Walmart will probably charge a fortune for them too; like they did with Encore 1, 2, 3, & 4.

Judging from the past, I doubt Hasbro will, especially since the Takara reissues will satisfy most of the collector demand. Not to mention, Hasbro's reissues have been inferior to Takaras due to US toy laws anyway. Get these, don't wait.

its anybodys guess.
im trying to remember which vintage type box reissues they did reissue in the west. prime, magnus, powermaster prime, no sixshot, galvatron, predaking, rodimus prime? hopefully, although there good reason to suspect that the best versions will be the jp ones.

Besides that, I think Hasbros' Reissue series is pretty much dead. Wasn't there allegedly an Astrotrain reissue from Hasbro that never materialized? Plus, Skylynx and Omega are pretty large figures, and Hasbros' reissue agenda seemed to be geared toward smaller toys comparably. Except for Optimus, Powermaster Prime and Magnus, all the TRU reissues were smaller figures. But it sucks that the G1 reissue line in general seems kaput.

Huh. I didn't know that. I bought the Takara reissue Astrotrain so I didn't need the Hasbro one, but I never saw the Hasbro one so I thought it was only a rumor.
