once again... why is that?
I looked at them again & again, they look pretty darn good
to me. size wise also more compatible to the rest of the
classics line.

And the worstest award goes to

So lame that I saw it at target for 10 bux and figured 5 bux each and a free dvd was still too much for these, lol.
Maybe If I saw the pack for like 50 cents...

Astrotrain, because neither of his alt.modes are convincing.

Deluxe Optimus - very poor alt.mode
Ultra Mag - I HATE albino repaints (but the Skywarp that comes with it is a must have-the only better seeker will be the MP Skywarp)
(As for the classic Grimlock - I think it has a great evolution from the pretender Grimlock)
GENERATION 1: THE EPIC ORIGINS! -Hasbro

Two Pack Prime, it's just the worst thing I've ever seen. I wish they would reales two pack Megatron singaly, since the only complain is his gimick and that can be taken care of!

I think they sell the Deluxe Megatron separately in some countries, I not sure where.

The only classic I have a problem with is Grimlock. ANd it isn't because his dino head becomes his feet. I think he actually has a unique and interesting transformation. My qualm with him resides in his shoulders and their ability to not lock into place.
My other complaint is Cliffjumper not getting a unique headsculpt. OIther then that Classics are peachy keene.

I think all of the Classics are good figures, but some less than others.
BB/Cliffjumper is just a boring mold.
Astrotrain, man was I excited when I first got him, and then my enthusiasm faded. Neither alt form is real great but I like his robot mode.
I'd say Grimlock, for many of the previously stated reasons, but I really have to go with BB/CJ for boringness or the horrendous 2-pack Prime for sheer shitosity.

It's true that the Demolition minicon team are a bit on the 'hey, what do you think is worst transformer we could possibly make?' side, bu the Dirt Digger Team and the Predator Attack Team are pretty funky.
The Legends repaint of Scourge as Trypticon is just silly, though it is nice to be able to buy a Transformer called Trypticon for about £3...
And why oh why did they repaint Legends Optimus as Menasor instead of Metroplex? Menasor doesn't even have an alt mode, and if you drive the trailer mode backwards it actually looks quite a lot like 'Plex's mobile fortress mode, plus you'd get to have some Trypticon/Metroplex fights on a budget!

Emperor Primacron the 1st wrote:Pistol Megatron, the wings and arm cannon throw off the weight a bit, plus the faggy orange caps on him. Why the targeting scope has orange is beyond me.

The orange is a legal thing, because without it it breaks the replica guns law, which is idiotic, since the thing barely even makes a convincing toy gun.
That said, I actually like Voyager Megatron, he's one of my favsourites.

2 pack Optimus, at least Megatron can pass for Stormbringer Bludgeon
Hot Rod, Bumblebee and Mirage because of the lack of scale. Thankfully I have my Machine Wars Mirage and reissue Bumblebee.
I would have loved to see Cybertron Swerve repainted as Hot Rod. For some reason Swerve's robot mode really reminds me of Hot Rod in the G2 comics where the art made young Rod seem edgier.
Cars should be Basics.
Classics Starscream just seems ugly compare to the magnificent Robotmasters version.
Actually like Gun Megatron and love Astrotrain.

I think those guys are QUITE good!!!!!
the gimmick is not lame, but rather neat.
I agree, i mean they have some issues, but their robot modes are pretty good.
If you ignore the lame gimmicks. there are solid figures. Very poseable. Good looking weapons. I really like them.

My rankings for the classics. I will put my hatred for the twopack in this:
Prime has puppydog eyes, stupid looking knees and a tomy gun, it's also floppy. O_o; It's resemblence to G1 Prime as close as his cartoon model to the original toy. Not much.
Meg's just looks like Machine Wars Megaplex to me and it only has one hand. ._. Better of the twopack
My best to worst in the Classics Range, of the ones I have. Repaints count as one fig, I specify what pain job is better for me.
Robot Modes
1 Ultra Magnus/Optimus Prime, UM paint Job
2 Jetfire
3 Megatron(Gun)
4 Starcream/Skywarp, SW paint job
5 Mirage
6 Grimlock
7 Bumblebee/Cliffjumper, BB paint
8 Rodimus
9 Astrotrain
10 Megatron(tank)
11 Optimus Prime(G1 esc)
Vehicle Modes
1 Rodimus
2 BB/CJ(BB paint)
3 Jetfire
4 Mirage
5 Grimlock
6 Starscream/Skywarp(SW again wins)
7 Megatron(Gun)
8 OP/UM(UM paint job)
9 Megatron(Tank)
10 OP(Wannabe Guiltar... er G1)
11 Astrotrain

hmm... you should heed your own "wisdom" because you slagged ramjet for something as stupid as his face is exposed in jet form.

Grimlock's feet are garbage.
Jetfire's backpack seems to always break the clips.
Megatron is a friggin nerf gun. Still, better than the retarded "plane" from the movie.
