I went to a walmart about 50 miles from where i live today, and didn't find what i was looking for but what i did find was about 30 Classics Devastator Gift Sets. They were marked down in the clearance section for $10 dollars each. Being the kind hearted guy i am i figured i'd take a few off their hands. I ended up buying 5 of the 30 they had.

That's quite a find. Your store must have gotten what was alotted to the stores in my area, because they were never even here...ever.

I can't stand that set. If I were to paint myself green and purple I'd be just as much Devastator as that thing. Classics Devastator my suprisingly well-toned ass.

I have yet to see a Devastator giftset IRL. Four WMs in my area and I have nothing to show for it. So sad, I guess. :lol:

Idunno, I kind of liked having the set in the "classic" color scheme. Then again, I'm just a sucker for combiners, even the Energon ones, so... Besides, it's almost nice having my Autobots outnumbered for once.

On clearance for $10 bucks per set i thought was awesome!! Considering these sets are still going for between $50 & 80 dollars at most online toys stores i've seen... including BBTS!!

Stop calling that thing classic Devastator giftset call it what it is a bunch left over energon construction team figures at that hasbro had sitting around repaint purple and green and boxed up in a new box. Sent to walmart because neather target or tru would touch them with a 10 ft pole.

The Walmart near me has 14 of them but still at full price. I'm waiting for them to go on clearance.

I think that that is a great find. I love gift sets and this one even though it is not anything close to what we would expect for the Classic line (just being an Energon repaint) for $10 US that is better than a kick in the head. Well done and good price! They are selling on eBay for about $30-40 US.

I found him last night on Wal-Mart on clearance for $25. Not nearly as good as $10, but you can't beat that price for 5 TFs that combine.

I didn't buy him because of money issues, but I'm going back tomorrow to snag him. I've fallen in love with the ugly green and purple for some reason and feel like I must have him. And so I will, hopefully tomorrow.

I live in southern ohio area, but i traveled 50 miles north to a WalMart in Columbus Ohio wherei found them.
