Well staying here for a cat 4 hurricane is frightening... We heard tornadoes all around us, the wind wouldn't stop for at least 9 hours.. My wife, two daughters and I stayed by my moms (she has two generators) until yesterday. Power is being restored as fast as possible and my area is for the first time in over 20 years of power outages actually got power last night (our grid was destroyed for Zeta last year then rebuilt) and now we are cooking meals and offering showers to anyone that needs it in the area that does not have power. Our damages (thank God and Goddess) were limited (so far the only thing that seems to not be working is the hot water heater which is outside) and the last few days have been cutting up tree branches and clearing debris. Sound off to at least say that you are ok when you can. Much love fellow Louisianians and now back to cutting more stuff up..
