The other night while driving home my headlights, turn signals, brake lights, the lights that illuminate the letters on my shifter, EVERYTHING shut off at once.
The only way I was about to drive home was my high beams still worked. We have tried changing the fuse that controls the lighting, but no dice.
We are literally dumbfounded...
any ideas?

It's got to be an electrical short.

If that's the case, then you'll be replacing every single wire until you find the one that works. I've done it, it SUCKS!!!!
I hope you indulge your OCD often.

You could try running a diagnostic test on it first...might help. It would be easier than replacing all the wires. IF it is an electrical short. I am having a problem where my power goes off and on randomly whe I try to start the car. When it first happened I **** my pants because I thought it was an electrical wiring problem, turns out I had a bad connection to the battery. Just need a new battery.
