I just got all of my G1 episodes backed-up on to my computer to start my G1 character tribute videos and there appears to be a problem.

When I upload the files into my video program it appears as though the first two episodes of each disc are copying into each other. For example, the first 12 minutes is the start of MTMTE Part 1 and then it becomes when the Decepticons are in the mines.

If anyone has experience with corrupted wmv files or any type of hints, please let me know. I really have no clue of what to do other than deleting everything and trying to back-up the episodes again, but I don't really want to do that given how long it takes.

When you say uploading it into your video program do you mean your editing software or a video player?

Video editing; I have Adobe Premiere Elements. Have done plenty of video editing with it and the other episodes on these discs are doing fine, but the first two episodes of every disc are meshing into each other.

I know it isn't the video editing program and is somehow the wmv files, but I don't know how to fix the problem or even if I can and, of course, I'm a bit hesitant to retry since I don't know if it won't just do the same thing.

So they don't play fine in Windows Media? Only thing I can suggest is ripping them one at a time instead of in a group.

Turns out the freeware I had been using was condensing the eight episodes of each disc down into five files for some reason. So, I went and got a different freeware now and things are fine.
