I started playing a long time ago but quickly stopped. Now I'm back into it...so this may be a newbie question.

Do weapons drastically bring down your hit percentage? I noticed my guy with a double-barrel shotgun missed a lot. He only landed 35% of the time. But it seems when he only ramed/punched/kicked he hit more like 80%+. I took the weapon off completely and his accuracy is now good now that he never uses a weapon.

if i told you you weapons have no affect on accuracy at all would you beleive me?

weapons arent automatic hits so yes it will vary based on your speed and might also on the weapon (sometimes weapons might have an appearance of effecting hits, which really depends on the weapon, your stats, and the stats of your opponent).

for punching and kicking the accuracy is much better then using a weapon, but will also miss.

the bottom line is really speed. nothing anymore is a 100% hit every time; not weapons or not not using a weapon, not recharge based or no-recharge, etc.

youre not a new player so you remember the old days likely where no-recharge weapons hit all the time and so did punching and kicking. those days are currently over. its mostly based on your speed and their speed.

Don't forget to only use Blue Bolts and Rocket Launchers. Sell off all your Battle Blades, they're for pansies.
