Hmmmmm.
"Does it come with a Prime trailer/weapons platform?" is my reaction. Also, is there a scheduled release date? Seems like every third party company comes out with their own version of Hot Rod, but few actually finish it. If it's coming out soon, I'd probably wait and see how it compares to the official MP Rod. If it has a Prime trailer, that's a plus.
However, if it turns out to be more of a Classics scale version, that'd pique my interest even more. Having a better-articulated Classics Rod would be cool; having a better-articulated Classics Rod with a Prime trailer would be even better.
Anyway, that's an awful lot of speculation on my part.

And is it just me, or is FT having bad timing with this as well as their release of the Quakewave reissue?

This harkens back to FT's humble beginnings, where they were going to release Soundwave until Takara announced their intentions to release it. I already have the first Quakewave, but would've gotten the new toon accurate coloring version if not for Takara announcing their own version. But with Galvatron and Hot Rod/Rodimus... yeah, bad timing.Rodimus Prime wrote:And is it just me, or is FT having bad timing with this as well as their release of the Quakewave reissue?

That was the extent of that dream. It was dumb.
I'd rather have that than this. This is dumber.
