Awa64, M Sipher and myself have developed a new third-party TF compatible line called BMOG (Bio-Mechanical Ordnance Gestalts), which we are currently funding through a Kickstarter campaign.

Our line is entirely new, the figures disassemble into 5mm compatible weapons and accessories and can be rebuilt, block-style, into dozens of new forms. The characters, designs, concepts and background are all new and independent of preexisting IP.

BMOG is ready to produce its first two toys, URSENAL of the heroic AUGMENTOIDS (a robot bear that separates into four guns, a warhammer, battle-blade, scanner and bear-head crusher-claw) and MANTAX from the evil PARAXXOIDS (a manta ray that splits into a huge double-bladed axe-pick and a double-barreled hand-blaster).

The manufacturer is ready, and several online outlets have expressed interest in stocking the line. All we need is the funding, and this is where you come in.

The BMOG Kickstarter campaign (http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/182 ... senal-vs-m ) has begun. By backing the project, you can not only ensure your copies of the first two figures in the main-line black color, but also get them in a color set EXCLUSIVE to Kickstarter backers, determined by your votes.

The Kickstarter runs until December 13, 2013. Stretch goals will be periodically announced, which can include the creation of two more BMOG sets already approaching the end of their design phase.

Just seen this, it's a really cool idea. These little guys really remind me of Zoids. I guess you could adapt what you're doing to include Targetmaster type figures as well? Interesting stuff.

I think the idea is creative but the Execution isn't there for me. The animal modes need articulation everywhere,With robot modes. I also think the size of these figures need to be deluxes or Voyagers. Having the smaller size means most of the seperated weapons are undersized on Transformers toys Voyager scale & bigger.

The articulation choice was made in regard to maintaining block-style play and a low final cost. But the retro-style won't be for everyone.
