Thundercracker
how come Thundercraker seems much more poplular than Skywarp? Even though I liked Starscream better than both of them.
Want List:Armada Skywarp, Cybertron Thunderblast, Energon Dreadwing or Mirage.

People love the bit in his bio about how he isn't totally convinced of the 'Con cause, and doesn't enjoy killing humans up close. They like to pretend this means he's really a misunderstood softy and will become an Autobot any moment. Skywarp is just a jerk, and there's no way round that.

I don't think he would side with the Autobots though due to his "contempt for anything that can't fly". If not with the Decepticons he's more likely to either use the Autobots and Humans then discard them whenever he felt like it, or just be a selfish loner.
I like that thought, but I'll never think he's cooler than Skywarp.

Exactly where is that ever stated? I was wondering about that cause it comes up in this story(which is excellent, and Richter said they helped spurn Mosaic):

Him not being convinced of the 'Con cause goes right back to his toy's tech specs. The bit about having some pity for humans comes from his Marvel TF Universe expanded profile.

From the box:
Contemptuous of anything that cannot fly. Not totally convinced of the Decepticons' cause, but they persuaded him to continue battling Autobots. Flies at speeds up to 1500 mph... produces controlled, deafening sonic booms that can be heard for 200 miles. Equipped with powerful drone rockets and incendiary gun. Doubts about cause sometimes impede effectiveness.

To be honest I've never noticed either of them having a following significantly larger than the other. Starscream will always be on top.

Sure it does, you just don't seem to understand.
Also, I have not noticed one's popularity out weighed by the others, maybe because I think all the Seekers are a waste of screen space.

Of course, the answer to the original question if we take it literally is probably "Because you've read more fan fiction about Thundercracker than about Skywarp."
Maybe if you told us what gave you this impression in the first place, we could come up with a better answer?

I'm a sucker for blue and white.
A reason why I like Thundercraker more than the other two of the main seekers. I also like his skepticism.
Although I think Skywarp's power is better than Thundercracker's. The Power to make loud noises? WTF
No clue why he is more popular with the masses.

few notice but like Micheal Jackson, all the seekers started out black. Starscream hid it well with his fair white bot wings, and with a name like Thundercracker...sto_vo_kor_2000 wrote:OptitronPrime wrote:this dosen't have anything to do with my question

I guess it's easier to write fan fiction about TC than Skywarp. On one hand, you have a Decepticon who's unsure of the 'Con cause, and on the other, you have Skywarp, who's just a prankster.
You can definitely write some great stuff about Thundercracker.
And maybe that's why a lot of people like him. Because he's good to write about.

Thundercracker has a cool name and colors but I like that Skywarp can teleport. That's hot.
Of course, Starscream is still the man. Period.

Actually, I thought Skywarp was more popular. He certainly seems to have more vocal followers, at least lately.
If Thundercracker is more popular, it's most likely for the whole 'unsure of the cause' bit, which does seem to spark people's imaginations, whether they think of him as a potential Autobot or not (I don't).
Personally, I'm a Skywarp fan myself, just because he's creative and fun, in his own sadistic way.

Because Sideswipe is so damn cool...
Are you comparing Sideswipe to Sunstreaker? 'Cause we all know Swipy's better. Well... I think he's better.

My thoughts exactly, but written in a far more concise and literate way.
Awesomesauce; Use it, you know you want to.

All the folks who live under the approach for NAS Oceana. Heck, I go down there so that I can get all the loud jet noise I can.
