I've been watching the G1 episodes on Youtube lately, and I've been wondering if and when they'll talk about Sparks and the Matrix. I got up to episode 18 last time, so how much longer do I have to wait? Also, what episode shows Prime on Cybertron before he is rebuilt as the first fighting Autobot? Ever since I heard of this I've been wanting to see it.

Optimus Prime was reb=uilt from Orion in "War Dawn".

The Matrix wasnt mentioned in S1/S2 and only came out in the Movie and comics.

Sparks were first mentioned in Beast Wars.

In episode 6 divide & conquer megatron mentions prime's spark but not in that exact word... he calls it laser core if i'm not mistaken.

They did mention sparks in one episode of G1 but they werent useing it the same way as they have since Beast Wars till now.It was more like a part then.The Matrix wasnt talked about in the toon till the first Movie and season 3.

It doesnt really explain the Dino's....later in the serries they revile that only Vector sigma [the master computer on Cybertron] can give life to a Transformer.Witch but the Dino's creation into question.

Maybe Vector Sigma could only give a certain kind of life (with a specific intelligence). Perhaps the life of the Dinobots was a second-rate imitation of the life that Vector Sigma can give. I can't remember the cartoon too well, though.

There's a million different possiblitys and yours may explain why the Dino's were so stupid....but the problem is that the Dino's were created in season one with out the help of vector Sigma.But in the episide "The Key to Vector Sigma" from season 2 they say in Dialog that ONLY Vector Sigma can give a Transformer life.
It's a contradiction of the first season episide.

But the G1 toon was full of contradiction
