I can't think of any, are there any at all? I know a medic doesn't really fit in with the evil Decepticons, but I was just wondering.

If I recall correctly Bombshell did some repair work, and the Seekers were seen reparing each other. I suppose they all have a little knowledge of field repairs, they are an army after all.

Hook of the Constructicons is generaly credited as being the "medic". At least in the bios that I've read.

Is this strictly G1 because I don't really think there's a designated Medic in any series.
I'd be willing to say that alot of Decepticons probly know how to do repairs but they're not designated "Medics" at least not in the same way as Autobot Medics who are allmost never on the battle field.
If anyone is G1 could really be called a Medic it'd have to be the Constucticons and Starscream. They are robots after all so it makes sence that medics would be construction vehicles. Starscream was a scientist originally and he did build the Combaticons out of some old Earth vehicles he found that no human would even be able to make run normally.

Swindle's a smart cookie. He could pull off the whole medic thing.

Yeah, he could perform repairs by stealing parts that are functioning fine and replacing them with damaged ones and sell the good parts for a nice profit.

Most decent medics likely have a problem with the Decepticons' frequent, flagrant and thorough violations of the whole "First, do no harm" thing.

I could see a robot who actually takes pleasure in seeing other Decepticons getting hurt because he looks forward to the challenge of repairing them as a character in the TF universe.

Medic and Doctor are two different things though.
A Doctor heals you
A Medic comforts you and patches you up till you get to a doctor or to get you back out into the field.

Shockwave would be my vote.
Seems like the type that could do repairs and upgrades.
I agree on Hook being as close to a medic as the 'cons probably have though.
Decepticons are much more prone to leaving any damaged allies on the battle field rather than repairing them.

I'm guessing from the sig you got that from Red vs Blue but I think you got the quote wrong.Senor Hugo wrote:Medic and Doctor are two different things though.

Based on G1 and the movie, I'd say the 'cons just leave thier injured to rust in peace.

Logically speaking, if the Cons just left their wounded to die they'd run out of soldiers very fast. But, a medic/doctor character doesn't really seem like it would fit into the Decepticon ranks. Hook is said in the MTMTE profiles to be a proficient surgeon, so he might be the closest thing to it for the purple guys.

In Beast Wars it was never an issue for the Predacons because they used their CR Tank.
I don't remember the Cons really being "healed" after G1 and Beast Wars.

No, thats what a medic actually does.
"A combat medic is a trained soldier who is responsible for providing first aid and frontline trauma care on the battlefield. Also responsible for providing continuing medical care in the absence of a readily available physician, including care for disease and non battle injury."
In World War 2, combat medics really couldn't do much in the way of treat patients, so most of the time they were there to get people off the field and at least keep them comfortable until they died or got to a real doctor.

Maximals had CR Chambers too but they allso still had Rhinox as their medic. Of course Rhinox wasn't afraid to get his hands dirty either unlike so many G1 Medics.Galvatron Primal wrote:Saber Prime wrote:Is this strictly G1 because I don't really think there's a designated Medic in any series.

Anyway Rhinox's job would be more along the lines of matience, CR Chamber repair guy. He could allso do things a CR Chamber can't including bringing Primal back from the dead and repairing Prime after Megatron shot his face off.
What would the Predacons have done if someone like Rattrap or Dinobot had suddenly got the urge to kill G1 Megatron? Nothing, no medic.

True, but they came in relitivly late in the series.
What did the 'cons do before they had them?
