Well, there you go, then.

Seriously, I did like it a lot. There's a lot of interesting mind-space and shades of grey in a group of "good guys" having to keep true to their own ideals while living as the "bad guys".
As for me, I figure I might as well post some of what I have finished so far, since it'll probably take me forever to finish the rest of it. Warning, this is gonna be *long*...

Transformers: Resistance
Premise: It is the 21st century by human reckoning, but this story originates on a distant alien planet known as Cybertron. It is a vast metal ecumenopolis that is home to the Transformers, a species of sentient independently-functioning robots with the ability to transform into various vehicles and devices for purposes of disguise and utility.
Cybertron is currently ruled by the Decepticons, a faction that values strength and power and despises weakness, and was formed from many of the military officers and other warriors under the planet's previous regime. They are lead by Megatron, who seized control of the planet from its previous leader, and now governs the planet with an iron fist. His draconian laws keep order and peace, but at the cost of oppressing research and free thought, and drastically limited freedoms and outlets for recreation in general.
There are those who chafe under such conditions, and are willing to disrupt the status quo in the hopes of returning to the ways of the previous government and giving the residents of Cybertron back their freedom. They are the Autobots, a small group comprised mostly of scientists, workers, artists, teachers, and similar types. Once mere civilians, they have taught themselves how to take up arms to liberate their planet, with the help of a few warriors who opposed the coup.
Looming over all of this is the mysterious Foundry. Once a mysterious self-running factory which gave life and sentience to many "generations" of Transformers, it now lies in near ruins. Damaged and rendered nonfunctional in one of the attacks with which the Decepticons established their current power, it is beyond the knowledge of any existing Transformers to repair. The answer to who originally built the Foundry and why is unknown to them, since none of the first few generations of Transformers built still operate. Or so they think...
Season 1: Planetfall
Synopsis: After struggling valiantly for many years, the Autobots are slowly but surely losing their fight. The Decepticons are just too powerful and well-entrenched for the Autobots' strategic but low-scale attacks to really affect them any more. Additionally, even with the Foundry disabled, the Decepticons still have the ability to create rudimentary (though non-sentient) drones when needed, whereas the Autobots lack the resources for such activities.
So the Autobots decide to split off some of their number and travel to other planets in the hopes of finding new allies and/or resources to aid in their fight. Armed with a list of potential places from the Aerialbots' long-term reconnaissance mission, Optimus and his team of Jazz, Ratchet, and Grimlock start with the first on the list - the only one also mentioned in what scant information was retained from Vector Sigma, the broken Foundry computer - Earth.
There they do find allies, in the form of a sleepy little company town called Green Town. The company in question is Witwicky Gadgets and Gizmos, a small-scale research facility and corporation founded by Ronald Witwicky, a wealthy and eccentric inventor. After the initial mishaps of first contact, the Autobots settle in and find that the citizens and scientists are willing to try to help the strange aliens in their midst. Particularly helpful are Samuel Witwicky, who does the main tasks of running the business for his father, Head Scientist Carly Lovelace, and Technician Chip Chase.
Meanwhile, Megatron eventually learns that Optimus has fled Cybertron and goes to pursue him, feeling that if Earth is important enough to be in their ancient records, it may be a resource that can't be allowed to fall into Autobot control. Megatron and his team of Swindle, Soundwave, and Soundwave's two diminutive troops Rumble and Frenzy end up finding their own set of allies thanks to Shawn Berger, the greedy CEO of Berger, Inc., a huge conglomerate with its fingers in almost every profitable area of business.
Season 2: Resistance
Synopsis: The focus shifts to Cybertron, where the main struggles continue. Rodimus, the Autobots' second-in-command, and Perceptor, their chief strategist, start incorporating the technology and information sent to them from Earth into their strikes. Kup and Sideswipe provide the main muscle, while Blaster coordinates all the information being passed between the various teams of Autobots.
Meanwhile Megatron's own second-in-command Shockwave takes advantage of his leader's absence to concentrate more openly on his strange experiments, normally "officially" frowned upon by the regime. He relies mainly on Starscream and his two Seeker brothers, Thundercracker and Skywarp, to keep the Autobots at bay, with Blitzwing and (Sideswipe's brother) Sunstreaker offering ground support.
Season 3: Betrayal
Synopsis: The Aerialbots finally return from their deep-space scouting mission with a large amount of information, including the surprising news of the rumored continued existence of Ultra Magnus, one of the first-generation Transformers, as well as his faithful bodyguard Omega Supreme. Upon hearing the rumor, Kup abandons his group on Cybertron to go pursue Ultra Magnus for his own agenda.
Meanwhile, Shockwave's new Combiner technology is complete enough to test, but, much to his frustration, turns out to require a critical mass of similarly-built and minded individuals to work. The three Seeker brothers provide a start, but are too few for a properly useful combined mode. Rather than try to incorporate some of the mindless droids into the mix, Shockwave tries to convince some of the Aerialbots to join the Decepticons' cause. He succeeds in regards to Slingshot and Air Raid.
Silverbolt, faced with the dissolving of his team and worried about his wayward brothers, begs Skydive to pretend to defect so he can keep an eye on them. Skydive reluctantly agrees, becoming an unlikely spy for the Autobots. Silverbolt then takes Fireflight and heads to Earth to help Optimus' team and lessen the possibility of being forced to fire on his former squad members.
Meanwhile, back on Earth, some of the employees of Berger, Inc. have become nervous about the Decepticons' involvement and what it might mean for Earth, and go off to offer help and intel to the Autobots and the research facility, with some of their number left behind at the conglomerate to serve as inside "moles". The records keeper Marissa Faireborn leads up the group of defectors, while janitor Raoul Martinez and some of his fellow housekeeping co-workers remain behind.
Season 4: Revelation
Synopsis: Ultra Magnus joins the Earth Autobots and tells what he knows about Earth, the Foundry, and their own origins from his ancient knowledge and memories. Back on Cybertron, Perceptor sneaks off to the Foundry ruins to apply the newfound knowledge to repairing Vector Sigma and learning the rest of the information they need. He gets Skydive to help, who in turn talks Thundercracker into helping as well. Finally, Sideswipe gets in touch with his brother and convinces Sunstreaker that helping them repair the Foundry is in all of the Transformers' best interests. The four start their clandestine operations.
On Earth, the intel that the research facility has gathered both from the defectors and their own work is starting to pay off in terms of both major upgrades and finding ways to bring down the conglomerate. The upgrades are so powerful that Optimus is able to take Grimlock and find the location of their creators, while the Autobots left behind still have enough power to defend against the Decepticons on Earth.
Season 5: Confrontation
Synopsis: Thundercracker, uncertain of which side to support, gives all of the information gained from Vector Sigma to both the Autobots and Decepticons. Both factions immediately start using said knowledge to pursue their own plans on how the conflict should be ended once and for all. Meanwhile, Perceptor embarks on implementing his own final solution for ending the war, based on his own understanding of Vector Sigma's information. One way or another, the war ends here and now for control of Cybertron and its future.

...can you tell I don't do anything by halves?

In any case, these are just synopses of "key events", there'd still be room for other "filler" episodes.
