Yes it has, and I can't wait. The new Nintendo Power has a pretty good article on it. Looks badass, up to 4 players, action on both screens. Yeah, I'm sold.

I bought the Konami Arcade Classics for the DS a while back just for the original Contra. No, the code does not work for that one. Not that you need it as you can beat the game in 7 minutes flat, its just principality.
