I heard a rumor it might be out near Christmas time.

KOTOR 3 hasn't even been confirmed to exist yet. IGN posted a rumor a while ago that a KOTOR 2 sequel was due in 2007, but no other news came after that. There's been word of an MMORPG based on the KOTOR universe, but so far no KOTOR 3 (keep your fingers crossed for E3 this year).

I had heard there were discussions of a KOTOR III back in 2005 at SIGGRAPH, when I was at the job fair scouting out what was going on.

Sadly I don't think there will be any chance of a KOTOR MMORPG as long as that dead horse piece of crap SOE calls a Starwars MMORPG is still around. A KOTOR MMORPG has SO much potential.

if KOTOR III is made, then i hope that bioware is the studio that makes it. i loved original KOTOR, but KOTOR 2 was going to much for a dark theme, and i was not digging it. also, it was very glitchy

If Bioware does KOTOR 3, then it would probably be after it does the Sonic RPG.

But I hadn't heard jack diddly on anything concerning KOTOR 3, so if it's out by X-mas, freakin' sweet. But I'm not gonna hold my breath.

I have to say it'll freak me out if they don't release a Star Wars game this year for the new systems. That's unheard of. Sheesh just do Republic Commando 2 to keep people happy.

If you go to the Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic II - The Sith Lord Restoration project website. You can download the finished content that was cut out due to time and money constraints for KOTOR II. They are still working on finishing the rest of the content to make the game complete...

Their supposed to be re-releasing the Episode III game for Wii.

KotOR3 would certainly rock, but my sources place it at least half-way through next year. The Powers-That-Be really want their next-gen Star Wars games to make it at the end of this year, and are worried that the next in an acclaimed series of games might steal a bit of their thunder.

Ah, the wonderful days of KotORing all day and night. Dark Side Sith Lord, Rei Darkill. Force Lightning..... *siiiigh*.....

Force Lightning/Force Storm wasn't all that powerful in the first game. The final rank of Force Push however, was uber.

But then in the second game, Force Storm kicked major amounts of ass. I don't think I used melee when I got Force Storm, everything died when I cast it once, had to use it twice to take out Kreia.

By the time you get to Malachor, the Exile is insanely powerful.

Hell, I was light-sided, and Force Storm barely even registered on my Force Points bar.

They're comming dude. They're comming. LA has confirmed it, even a game for Wii supposedly involving Lightsabers.

What is coming? More Star Wars titles or another Republic Commando? Where'd you hear the news regardless?

Anywho I really wish E3 would roll around already. I can't wait to see how the more controlled and orderly convention will turn out. At least now we'll be able to get solid info from reporters instead of brief quotes while giant sweaty dudes rub their bear claws all over the controllers in the background....UGH!

Sadly 2008. I believe first quarter. I cannot wait to go apeshit on random people, throwing them into walls and then electrocuting them while they try to get up.
