GAARRRGGHH!! Ye need to learn a lesson in board etiquette jimmy lad, but me best answer is that the legend of the reissue swoop booty is false as the molds where lost long before and hence an official reissue can never be made unless the capn' of hasbro commisions another te be made.

I'll let me pet monkey simplify it down for ye

Monkey: "Mold lost. No mold = No reissue. All dinobot molds lost. all dinobot reissues are fakes"

now get te scrubbing the poopdeck, the capn' makes his rounds at noon and it'll be the plank for ye if the capn' finds any poop on his deck. AAARRRGGHH!!

GGAARRGGGHH fifty lashes for me monkey it is, but the capn's of hasbro and takara had comissioned new molds te be made of soundwave usin soundblaster so the fact stands sonny jim that the dinobots will n'er be reissued soon :grin:

Wel, that is the onlyt hing this place was missing. I have been praying for a monkey pirate for quite a while. (Must have been made by Takara)

Oh and to answer the OP, yup, theyre fake. I hear they're nice, but fragile.

to seriously answer the question, these are reproductions (as said in the auction) and not official reissues.

they are also not very good quality. I have read posts here (you can do the search) where the inferior quality was discussed.

Furthermore, reproductions like this will not appreciate in value like the originals. My advice - avoid it.

weird. if its fake then y does the packinging look "official"? also remember the Jurassic Park Movie dinosaur craze? Dinobots were also (re)released (in bright blue, green, red, etc colors) to cash in on the dinosuar craze. where did they get the molds for those?

If you are referring to the G2 Dinobots, apparantly, the mold broke after that release. Official looking packaging is really easy to reproduce. See the KO Primes.
