Just brought Movie Brawl, after buying Bumblebee ('76) a few weeks ago. I also have the two entry modes, and have been having a bit of trouble with Brawls arms. The bust is too wide for the lower-turret & so the arms don't fit. Now I know this has been mentioned before, in fact I knew about it before buying it, & didn't care. It doesn't really bother me, however...
How the hell are the new transformers for kids??? When I was a child I know I couldn't have dealt with a problem like that or the issues with '76 BB... I really don't understand how these are aimed for anyone under 10.
------
Ok. Brawl, sorted!
I took a file to the sides of the black panel that slip(with difficulty) between Brawls "shoulder blades" I guess you could call them, the tabs that attach the arms, & the tabs at the bottom of the turret.
This appears to work! Along with Blurrz suggestion Brawls arms now stay in place. Movement will dislocate them, but for a display piece it's fine ^^
Good luck with the figure, though DON'T file too much, no more than two millimetres & on the turret tabs you should barely file at all. Images of file areas attached.
Oh please? Transofmers are for kids??? ~Brawl issues sorted!~

You sure pointed out a good fact, and that is that the movie toys really require you to use the Instructions, or else you're going to break something.
When it comes to Brawl, his arms are completly flawed. The only way i've solved it is by pushing his back-up into his body as far as it can go, put the arms into the plugs, and then push the tabs back into the back-pack as quickly as you can.

Blurrz man! That really works, well done. Did you do that yourself or was it recommended. If it was you, major-kudos.
I may try fileing (sp) the tabs that hold the arms in place a little.
I did this, it makes it better, however it doesn't fix the problem. As long as you only file a little, & don't move the arm it should stay in. This should make posing the figure easier as it means you can push the tabs in a little more.

yeah i think kids will gonuts without the instruction let's say for example, ironhide voyager class it took me an hour that you need to simply twist the torso so that the front chest and the front legs will align... and i was about to call the mall where i purchase him and after an agony of more than an hour i finally made the guy turn into a robot... whew..!!!

Well actually I spent a whole month at my vacation home about a couple thousand miles away from where I life. I only took 3 Transformers with me, and after transforming Brawl a couple times, I kinda figured it out. But heck, if you're in a boring place, and with a single or couple of transformers, you're going to figure out how every gear works, how every parts moves, and the best way to transform it.
Glad to have helped, and if you do file down the tabs a little, be a little careful that you don't take off the whole tab

Haha, don't worry, I don't actually have a file, so I'm scratching it with a pen knife. Painfully slow but a bit more precise & probably quicker than searching the house for a file XD

Totally worth it. Great detail. Lovely alongside Bumblebee. Great piece, & with some slight alteration & modification the problems are no problem at all, as I'll explain in the next post.

usually, the simple problem are eccess plastic like in the case of the 74 bb i sliced a small amount of thickness on the circular plastic that is not being able to lock by the TAB and it worked fine now...
