Sure, they're worth it. I've got several of them, but not all. Just the ones I like. I did just buy the two new ones - High Score and Meantime. They're especially cool.

Yeah but do they do anything, or do they just transform into little pocket items? Can you play with them (i.e. does Longview have anything you can see when you peer in his binoculars mode?)

Get them from Big W if you can, they have the cheapest non sale prices.
The real gears are plain ol' transformers, they dont do anything else. Figures like Longview have clear plastic in them that allows you to look straight through the figure, but it's still fairly dodgey, and blurred, similar to Classics Megatron's scope.
The figures themselves are very good, paint quality is far superior to the actual movie figures, and the transformations are fun and intuitive.
I have all 6 figures that I have seen (the last 2 are meant to be out now) and every figure is worth it's weight in gold, however, the highlights of the line are:
- Speed Dial (phone)
- Spyshot (digital Camera)and
- Booster X10 (Laserbeak-MP3 Player).
I have yet to hear a single negative comment about Wave 3 figures High Score (game controller) or Meantime (watch).
Really you cant go wrong with these little guys, other than Armourhide, these figures are hands down better than the Target Scouts. (and a few $$$ cheaper too)
Awesomesauce; Use it, you know you want to.

yeah, its supposed to be the cell phones camera, thats why those two hinged pieces swing in to hide the mouth when you change him to a cell.
