If you don't have a G1 Soundwave, get this one!
It's a Soundblaster repaint, so it has the double door.
Which means it can hold both cassettes at the same time.

Leave it to Dead Metal to have the word 'Pronz' in his signature.

Alex Kingdom wrote:It's a bit of an oddity this one. It's a commemorative reissue (of sorts) of G1 Soundwave, however this is not the original Sounwave mould its actually that of Soudblaster the reincarnation of Soundwave from the Japanese G1 Headmasters series. The Soundblaster mould is different in that it can carry two tapes and not one, in order to do this the tape door has been extended and protrudes from the toys chest unlike the original mould where the tape door was flush to the figure.
So yes it's a classic redo and yes it's also a G1 reissue but it could also be called a repaint of G1 Soundblaster and therefore an entirely new version of the figure and not a reissue at all. So if you're a G1 purest you might want the original version of both figures, but if you looking for an affordable representation of G1 Soundwave including his two most popular casseticons you cant go far wrong with this guy, Oh and £25 converts to $50 not $20.

Best way to get around that is take advantage of their buy 3 for the price of two offer. Spend £50 on 3 Soundwaves and sell the remaining two on ebay. They are going for £20+ at the moment so you may find you Soundwave ends up costing you less than a fiver! Like the one I bought for a friend Birthday did!

I really like it btw. As has been said he can hold 2 casettes. He's very solid and is worth the money. Not technically a "Classic", since he wasn't redesigned like say, the Seekers or Bumblebee, but a great re-issue nontheless.
