This Black Soundblaster Jr. is a Takara release from 1987. Only released in Japan. It does come with a mini-lazerbeak, but my son has accidently mis-placed it.


The alternator custom Soundwave is NOT my creation, I bought from someone else, thought it was cool and different. The shoulder cannon looks to be from a calculator paper roll.

There are actually quite a few variations of soundwave. Slotted-fist, non-slotted, pre-rub... it gets kind of confusing.

My favorite is the knock-off, CASSETTE MAN

Matter of fact I do have the titanium Soundwave, forgot to include him in the family portrait in my haste!

Stand corrected on the Soundblaster Jr....He DOES NOT have a transforming Laserbeak.

And thirdly....I love Twincast being a evil Decepticon!
