What is this Ratchet?
I know someone must have posted this, but since the search feature is down....

IS that real, custom, what?
I'm fine with the yellow they chose for the film, but this would have been sweet.

This is a "Rescue Ratchet" variant. There's apparently a G1-styled Jazz and Starscream coming, as well. I've gotta say, this does look really nice, though I wish they'd remolded the head a little to give him the G1 chevron.
I really hope they keep the trending going and do an Ironhide in G1 colors. That mold would look great in red with the yellow or even gold pinstriping.

I gotta say, I really don't care of that figure in those colors. Sure the G1 homage is a nice but there's too much white and the red looks kinda out of place. Also, the word "Ambulance" across the front should be backwards as it's meant to be read in the rearview mirror.

i just love how the ebay seller says this figure will never make it to mass market..
somehow, i kinda doubt that..

That is how he will sucker someone to spending $100+ on the figure.
Not a sheeple.
Think for yourself, don't let the magic TV box and social media do the thinking for you.
Question EVERYTHING!!
Just because you have a youtube review channel doesn't make you special.
I look forward to attending a Botcon soon only to settle matters with several idiots in person (yes this is a threat).

It's easy to blame the seller, but some other rational human out there has to make the ass-hat decision to actually buy it...

Ratchet
Wait so now they are going to do G1 Style repaints for this series. If so I wonder if they will do a leader Prime with no flames. I had been kicking myself for not buying Starscream but after seeing the G1 style painted version I am glad I waited.
What Transformer are you? (Movie)
My Results:

Ironhide
You are the weapon specialist. You are probably the only Autobot who doesn't give a crud about the humans and repeatedly asks permission to blow something up. You are very strong and big as well as always suggesting the BIGGER sort of weapon. You are also good at sports; mostly contact sports. You can be easily irritated and may have anger issues. You also have a huge truck mode. Sweet.

Yeah but its easier to blame the seller. The buyer is forced to trust that the seller isn't lying to him and doesn't what to miss out on a Gen 1 homage that was passed over for retail. Except that Hasbro rarely (I can only think of one) passes up the milking of our childhoods. Well, not yours Cpunch but you get the point.
I almost bid on the Gen 1 colors Starscream he had but logic kicked in. Thundercracker is confirmed and it'll be a cold day in Hell when they only "make" us buy a Seeker mold once! I expect Cracker & Screamer by Sept/Oct and Skywarp as a store exclusive at Christmas.

Jazz would be great in G1 colors! These are the kinda repaints I'm all for. If they're going to reuse molds make it interesting.

I'm not. It was a nice little homage when they did it in Energon but then we got Robot Masters, Classics, Masterpiece repaint, and now this. I feel like we never get anything new anymore, it's all just G1 retreads. I mean how many times do we need a G1 colored Starscream?

Still slightly better than being Starscream's beige-er cousin Sandscream...
