This heads up for those interested out there coming from someone who is looking forward for the figure.

The Good:

Detailed Futuristic Train. A lot of paint apps using a metallic style plastic

Easy to transform.

Warrior mode? Bad @ss looking Prime. Poseable and stable.

One look and you can tell he is Prime!

Weapons made out of hard plastic. Not like the samurai and ninja team. The kabuto/shield looks good and not too back heavy. Simple adjustment on his knees and you get a stable standing figure.

Neutral:

Got batteries. I detest electronic gimmicks as much as possible though voice clips enhance the experience somewhat

The Bad:

Tomy scrimped on a paint app that imho, especially to OCD types like me makes a big difference. The autobot symbol on his to coach/cockpit. Being molded in red plastic, the sigil seems all but invisible.........makes it sort of invisible at a glance......and yet it's molded embossed.

On the poseability aspect, its good that he's got tight shoulder joints and ratcheted legs. But the tiny shoulder joints.......kind of distracting. It's so weenie looking that a shoulder guard accessory could have been added to cover it.

The left nosecone/cab half of the bullet train won't lock in his left arm.

Lastly his legs. It offers full frontal, side ward and backwards movement........BUT, his blue hip guard has a locking mechanism that prevents it from flopping. This is nice to look at but defeats the purpose of folding the legs forward when you like to pose him in such a manner.It simply gets in the way.

And his double blade weapon? Tomy kind of cheats because they don't actually join together like that of the Samurai Team. You get the effect of a single weapon merged together by equally inserting both handles into the fist.

The Ugly:

So hard to find him in legit Japan stores ( the online ones) for the OCD smart aleck's out there. Given that the samurai and shinobi commander's are so hard to find, getting him into super mode is next to impossible.

If you do own those two, the combined mode looks good in the animation........but in reality.......'nuff said.

Hope this helps persuade/dissuade people out there who might just be interested.
