Movie Figure question

Why is Devastator called Brawl for the toy line? I know the original Devastator was the constructicons. Why the name change?

Welcome to the boards!We've talked about it many times, but we've concluded that it was an error. In the original script, he's referred to as Devastator (many of the Decepticons had different names). The name was changed for the toys and etc... but forgot to change it in the movie.

Ahh thank you. I was thinking it was some sort of error. And I've been a novice collector of Transformers stuff for years. I get a few figures here and there. I'm looking to get more of the Transformers Classics line. They used to have tons of them at my TRU and now I can only find Cliffjumper.
