Why no INSTRUMENTAL Transformers soundtrack?
Hey all. I am one of those rare breeds that actually enjoys the instrumental music in movies, and while I appreciate that modern pop and rock songs of the Transformers Soundtrack I have seen, I am rather dissapointed I don't see an instrumental counterpart. For example, I greatly enjoyed the music that was played during the scene when Optimus and company arrived to the planet and fell from the skies. Not only was the cavalry arriving but I felt great nostalgia. Anyone know whats up with this?

Haha. To be more epic and dramatic? I didn't want the movie to end up being too cheesy for its own good =P
But, here's something I was expecting.
When Cullen was narrating during the beginning intro, after he was finished, I was seriously expecting that White Lion (or the Black Lab version) song to start playing as an intro song to the movie.

A score album was said to be in the works during an interview with Jablonsky, and mentioned there might be an orchestrated G1 exclusive to the CD. Haven't heard anything more on it yet, but it does seem to be a pretty popular request. Hopefully by the time summer's over.

Yeah, because the inspired by I like just two tracks, the track of Limpiskit and the Goo Goo Dolls, but I really liked that they brought the original motion score out. Maybe if we send a mail with all our names by Hasbro maybe they will release it after all...

I would like it too. I prefer instrumental music.

"We, Decepticons, are a swell bunch. And boy do we have fun." - Starscream
"You're one of...those, Never understood why any self respecting Decepticon would choose auto-mobile as his vehicle mode when he could have flight." - Starscream
"For a guy hearing voices of the dead, you've got a pretty insensitive view of Mental Health" - Bumblebee

I'm a big score fan, there are quite a few cool tracks on the score. As people have hit upon the Autobot arrival is a cool piece, as is the Optimus Prime transformation/ending theme, plus I quite like the short piece when Bumblebee and Sam/Mikela drive past Optimus and Jazz etc in the desert and you see Prime and Jazz powerslide behind Bumblebee.

Yeah me too I already mad about the Spider-Man 3 that's the movie maker doesn't brought the instrumental score out because the showdown and the main theme rocks. I already send a mail to them but without no message in return...
As I said, we must send a mail to Hasbro or Warner Brothers Music that we fans appriecate a Original Motion Picture Score !!!

Personally, I noticed the Instrumental Music more than I did the Rock songs in the movie.
: ( I agree, we needs a TF OST.

There was a distinct "Transformers" theme throughout the movie that I enjoyed quite a bit. Then you had Sam's theme, which I wasn't too hot about. Then, the best--the arrival music. I loved it.
