In the movie, when sam takes mikaela home in BB, when they're talking, everything out the window is all white. No blue sky, sun, anything, did they forget to add background?

That bugged me for a while as well-- then I noticed, in the stalling scene just after, that the desert sky was nothing but white.

yup. look at HBO's First Look and its more than obvious they did exactly that.

haha. That was a long first look they r usually only 15 minutes long.
