I'm I the only person in this forum that realizes their not going to
bring in that many new characters. I see people expecting 6-17 new Decepticons and Autobots to debut. I mean the next movie is going to be about 1 1/2 hours.Plus the cost of the CGI models. Second, does any one here think that construction vehicles lame compared to all the military tech that makes up most of the Decepticon Army?

Well, for the bots I'de be ok with like Jetfire and one or maybe 2 more. With the decepts theres gotta be at least 5 to contend with the autobots. As for the constructacons, i could care less. As long as Jetfire and Soundwave are in it I'm happy

Construction vehicles are not lame compared to military vehicles. Construction vehicles are perfect for undercover cons and any kind of story that has the cons building something.
Besides, they turn into Devastator, and anyone who thinks that is lame needs their head examined.
Yeah, they f'ed up and used the name on the wrong guy. No big deal. All that really matters is the character. People are going to remember "all those construction vehicle guys that went together into the big one". He's just as much of an icon as Soundwave and Prime. Hell, in TF2, they don't even need to use any name for him. Just have "Constructicons unite!" and they all go together.
You might be tempted to say, "Well, fair enough, but what about Bruticus? He's not only a gestalt, but we can use the name and he's military vehicles to boot." The answer is still no because he's not an icon, and that's what matters most with mass audience that doesn't remember details of something they haven't played with since Turtles came out.
