What are the differences between the film and the novelization?

Not a whole lot. No TF scenes were in the Novel and not in the movie, as I recall.

There was some extra human crap, but really, who cares.

One thing that I noticed was the scene with the electical wires. In the movie it was Ratchet who hit the wires and in the book it was Jazz

wouldn't he be too short to walk into them?

Barricade's death was cut from the film, making him a presumable survivor. In the book, Prime destroyed him right after decapitating Bonecrusher.

Jazz was supposed to be about 18 feet tall if I'm not mistaken ? That's not too short as a lot of areas have power lines at various heights due to certain conditions.

What worries me just as much if not more than the lines is the boxes or garbage can shaped things ironically called transformers themselves that can literally explode like a bomb when they fail!

There is one on a power line pole 20-25 feet away from my front windows and if it ever fails like what I described I don't think a single window will survive the blast.
