Are the autobots going to combine to form somthing similar of the decepticons Devastator???

seems like combining is major gimmick of this sequel. Seems like there's combiners on both sides.

Autobots:
-Skids and Mudflap most likely combine, both as their new chevy formats as well as the icecream truck.
-Three motor bikes.
-Optimus and Jetfire combo

Decepticons
-so far I can only think of devastator
-Ravage is most likely a component of Soundwave if this counts.

I'm interested in seeing just HOW they combine into their respective super-robots. I wonder if they are going to all jump into the air, or lay on the ground, or what. This aspect could be something extremely cool to watch, or it could be very awkward looking. I hope it is done well so that it is fun to watch.

I'm sure the combinations, especially Devastator's, will be made too look impressive. Should be one of the many awesome scenes in the movie.

Devastator I'm almost sure will be formed from the vehicles driving into each other then have Devastator lumber up onto two legs to look "devastating"

Prime and Jetfire will most likely be a mid air merge. Skids and Mudflap will probably be a rolling combination, same goes for Arcee.

I think it will be cool when we see it on the big screen. I just have this weird image of things floating around in mid-air and combining like they did on the G1 cartoon. I have no idea why that is the picture that sticks in my head, but I know it is going to more slick than that. Ithink you are right though. no matter what, M.Bay isn't going to let it look bad-that would not be in his character as far as presenting something like that. I hope.

I had never though about the actuall merging process? They would have to show it so peopl dont just think, what is that, where did he come from...

think if they could get starscream in the first film to transform in the air in the first film, we have nothing to worry about this time round!
