Two conflicting answers.

One site said "Gift from God" and LaBeouf means "The beef".

The other site said Shia means "****" in French. The beef remains true in both versions.

But, that's not correct. **** is merde in French. Shia is Shia.

First off, The Beef? Best frat name ever.

Second, that first blog doesn't exactly sound credible. That news article sounds like your garden-variety troubled human being. Except for the Oedipus line at the end.
