Hi guys, having gone to see the new ROTF movie I was a bit bamboozled by all the action in the film and I have to say more than a bit disappointed at the character development (or lack of it) for the auctual Transformers.
As a result, with so much happening I missed a lot of the Autobots and Decepticons and I'm not even sure who was in the movie (apart from the obvious ones) :-(

Apologies if this has been covered elsewhere but I wondered if anyone could tell me which Autobots and Decepticons actually appeared in the movie and what their fate was?

Hell, it all happened so fast I didn't even know it was Sideways that was chopped in half by Sideswipe til I read it here!

OK - Here's what I saw (not in any kind of order, other than that which they popped into my mind). Unless otherwise noted, I assume that the character survived the movie.

Autobots:

1. Optimus Prime - killed by Megatron, resurrected by the Matrix of Leadership.
2. Bumblebee
3. Ironhide
4. Ratchet
5. Sideswipe
6. Mudflap
7. Skids
8. Arcee (consists of the three femmebot bikes) - wounded/killed in action during the final battle. Fate unknown.
9. Wheelie - initially a 'con but changes allegiances to become a 'bot.
10. Jetfire - sacrifices himself to allow Optimus to "power-up" to defeat the 'cons.

Decepticons:
1. Megatron
2. Starscream
3. The Fallen - killed in battle by Optimus Prime, when prime crushed his spark chamber.
4. Sideways - bisected by Sideways in Shanghai.
5. Grindor - Blackout clone w/ different colors shown in the forest battle scene, killed by Prime.
6. Long Haul - assumed killed in the final battle scene.
7. Mixmaster - assumed killed in the final battle scene.
8. High Tower - killed by the other Constructicons to aid in the resurrection of Megatron.
9. Demolishor - killed by Prime in Shanghai.
10. Rampage - killed by Bumblebee in final battle scene.
11. Devastator - killed by direct hit from rail gun mounted on US battle cruiser.
12. Ravage - killed Sub-Zero style by Prime in the final battle.
13. Scorponok - killed by Jetfire in the final battle.
14. Soundwave
15. "Alice" - killed when smashed by the car Michaela was driving.
16. Scalpel aka "The Doctor"
17. Dead End / Sideways clone - shown in the final battle scene, assumed killed.
18. Bonecrusher clone - shown in the final battle scene, assumed killed.
19. Generic 'Con protoforms - shown in the final battle scene, assumed killed.
20. The kitchen-bots - Ejector, the Dyson bot, etc, killed by Bumblebee.

Well they didnt really have the characters develope b/c 1. it cost a lot of money to make the transformers and alot of time sitting in a computer chair for long hard hours, and this film really well wasnt about story

Ratchet - pea green emergency hummer, medic
Bumblebee - yellow camaro, Sam's guardian
Sideswipe - silver Corvette Stingray Concept with huge arm blades
Skids - green Chevy Beat, Twin to Mudflap, formed 1/2 the ice cream truck
Mudflap - red Chevy Trax, Twin to Skids formed 1/2 the ice cream truck
Jolt - blue Chevy Volt with big energy whips
Arcee sisters - All 3 were treated as a single unit (like G1 Reflector)

- Devastator - massive behemoth, biggest bot in the movie
  - Scavenger - red excavator shovel
  - Mixmaster - gray and silver cement mixer, fought Jetfire
  - Hightower - yellow crane
  - Scrapper - yellow front loader, chased Sam and Mikaela
  - Overload - red flatbed truck (barely seen)
  - Long Haul - green dump truck, chased Sam and Mikaela
  - Rampage - red bulldozer, fought Bumblebee (all his toys are yellow)
Reedman - flat bug-like robot formed by many tiny ball Decepticons
Tiny bug Decepticon - nameless, fans could call it an Insecticon
Hatchlings - baby Decepticons who died upon birth due to a sufficient lack of energon

Other:

The "Kitchen Crew" - kitchen & home appliance bots brought to life by the All Spark fragment
The Dynasty of Primes - six of the seven ancient Primes who died in the past, forever remaining in the Tomb of the Primes.
A Model T Ford - an ancient Seeker who was on Earth in the past
An airplane - an ancient Seeker who was on Earth in the past

Just revised my list. The flat bots formed by the tiny ball Decepticons is actually named "Reedman" (seriously).

Ravage was ripped apart by Bumblebee, not Prime. Also.... where was Barricade??? He wasn't killed in the first movie (although he was killed off in the book).

Scrapmetal was underwater with them(he got torn up). There's also the hand loader for constructicons.

Not that they're of much importance, but also:

The Doctor calls for the thing that goes in Sam's brain which seems to be alive. It's also carried by 2 other random flying decepticons. There was also the decepticon ripped apart underwater, which nobody for sure knows the name of. Devastator was also comprised of an additional yellow bulldozer, whom nobody knows the name of.
