I assume this only applies to crappy single-disc editions of those movies, none of which I actually want. And what can you even buy with $5 in a theatre? A 'fun size' chocolate bar?

Galaxy Quest is one of the funniest movies EVER. However, I'll probably be passing on drinks and candy when I go see this so I don't have to miss a second going to the bathroom.

Cool deal! Though, the only good movies here (in my opinion, that is) are Galaxy Quest and the even-numbered Star Trek films. Gee, they couldn't include any of the TF DVDs out there, could they (such as TFTM 1986)?

lol.... quite recently I've seen people downplaying these lists of movies that come with free stuff. To be honest people, have you seen all or at least some of those movies? Face Off is my favorite action movie (hopefully Transformers can de-throne it), and it has amazing performances by Nicolas Cage and John Travolta. It's also a John Woo movie, and another John Woo movie, Paycheck, is also on that list and that movie is also one of my favs. Then there's Sky Captain, Italian Job, Galaxy Quest, etc...

If you haven't seen some of those movies I mentioned, maybe you can give it a try. I mean, it's ok if you don't want the $5 concession money, and I'd prefer you don't buy the movies solely on my word alone, but, it's rather amusing and disappointing seeing many people write off good movies....

Dragonslayer is an absolute masterpiece! I believe it came out around 1981, and the effects (by ILM) are amazing, esp. considering that it's pre-CGI. I've been wanting to add it to my DVD collection for some time, and this is only another excuse to go and pick it up.

Right off the bat I've been putting off getting Aeon Flux. She shall now wait no longer!

Not bad. A few of these movies I might need to pick up. Especially Galaxy Quest. that one was good. Also need to finish out my Star trek Collection.
