Over the coarse of the movie trilogy, we have seen some very noticeable homages and nods to other continuities in the franchise, from Generation 1 to Beast Wars and several other examples. My question is: What are your favorite nods and homages from the Transformers films.

TransFormers
-the Beetle next to Bumblebee at the car sale
-Peter Cullen, nuff said
-the flail and axe weapons of Megs and Prime
-Scorponok homaging Beast Wars
-Starscream firing on Megatron in jet mode.
-Jazz vs Brawl mirrored Kup vs Blitzwing in TFTM

Revenge of the Fallen
-The Fallen himself, originating as a rather obscure comic-only character
-the Pretender concept getting a nod with Alice
-Ravage eject, operation shard retrieval
-Arcee being a motorcycle like in Energon
-Prime and Jetfire combining like in Armada
-the Matrix of Leadership

Dark of the Moon
-Sentinel Prime, even more obscure than The Fallen
-the Wreckers teamname is mentioned, even though the individuals aren't referred to by name
-Shockwave's colour, weapon and head design
-Laserbeak through and through
-the plot is basically a mash-up of several G1 cartoon storylines
-Prime combines with his trailer, again Armada-based and also a homage to G1 Ultra Magnus and Powermaster OP

I liked these nods, plus Megatron taking Lincoln's seat

EDIT: Also, Megatron attacking Sentinel for taking his leadership, inadvertently undoing his whole scheme. Brought a smile to my face.

Arrg... This was one part that i was truly disapointed. I was really hoping that soundwave was going to have his synthizied voice in the movie. Oh well.

For me it was Peter Cullen voicing Optimus Prime. NO other voice actor could have pulled it off. Period.

He had blades in the first second movies and hooks in the second. The axe didn't come till the third movie.
