Hasbro Looks to Cash In on Transformers Movie
It seem like Transformers is getting publicity everywhere. Today Transformers Movie director Michael Bay, Hasbro COO Brian Goldner, and Hasbros President and CEO Al Verrecchia were all present at the New York Stock Exchange promoting the film and Hasbro's stock. TheStreet.com caught up with the trio for an interview. View the interview by clicking here.

These toys are real ugly, but also alot of fun, and with all the knick knacks going around, they better save up, cause come that new series, it's over till TF2!

ah...that was what I thought too...duuh... hahahhahaha
I agree with Liege Evilmus, come that new series, the stuff they're putting on the market would go bye bye.
I think the new series' toys would appeal alot to a wider crowd, simply because of the "friendlier" looking design. It'll make cool collector items too I guess, and to a crowd not just limited to Transformers fan.
I think they're going to have an appeal like those funky Hong Kong figures or those Kubrick bears kinda stuff.
But back on topic, yes well, Hasbro owns em, they do what they please, and to them it should be good. Now if only we can add a lot more heart to it all, it should be a win win situation to fans and hasbro.
Looking forwadrd to great toys!!!

I haven't skipped a TF line released in The States in over 12years. This new series is gonna put a pause on that I believe.
