All spark location?

Ok so after the cube land on earth, where exactly was it located? Did the sector 7 guys say they found it in the arctic and moved to the site of the hoover dam, or did they find it in the colorado river and just built the dam around it?

Colorado, the dam built around the allspark. It mentions it in Movie Prequel comic#2.

I believe they build the dam around it. It looked like they were still digging it out.

my question, why in the movie do they say twice they moved meg's there in 1934, but in the prequel novel and comic, they say he was moved there during the late 60's?
