DC Metro Area Transformers sightings
DC Metro Area Transformers sightings

Despite having lived here over seven years (and collecting for five of them), I've never actually purchased a TF in DC. I've always had to trek out to the 'burbs to get my fix. So it makes sense to have a consolidated metro thread separate from the two states' threads. (Obviously, I'm not going to drive somewhere at the opposite end of VA if the same thing is available at the TRU off of Branch Ave in MD). So, that said, post away if your find is from one of the following locations:
District of Columbia
Montgomery County
Prince Georges County
Arlington County
Fairfax County (including Alexandria, Fairfax and Falls Church)
Prince William County (including Manassas)
Loudoun County
Today, I was out & about along Route 1, and found Ultimate Bumblebee at the Target in the Potomac Yards shopping center (the one in Del Rey just south of Crystal City). They also had the G1 redecos of Starscream and Jazz. And not much else.
The WalMart on Rt 1 in Hybla Valley had Voyagers Ironhide, Ratchet, Megatron and Starscream.
Both places had other stuff, like the T.E.C.H. stuffs, but I didn't really take a good inventory of them. Most of the pegs and shelves were empty.
Here's to hoping the hunting gets better around here soon.

TRU had the worst of the selection, mostly just Ultimate BB, the role-play items and stompin' and slammer varieties of things, along with a trio of voyager Megatrons. And about a dozen Cybertron Primuses (no Unicron head on any of them).
Target was only marginally better, with three leader class Brawls and wave 1 of the Real Gears. Also saw a bunch of their S&-styled basic class stuff, including Elita One.
WalMart delivered better yet, but still not great. Dreadwind, Swindle and, Leader Brawl and Megatron, and the new Real Gears. Also, Ultimate BB was about $12 cheaper here than at TRU.
Still mighty slim pickins 'round these parts.
