I like BBTS. Since you're out of the country it will be easier to order from them and if there is a problem with your order, exchanges are no problem with BBTS.

Hola Segor, yo estoy en Colombia y varias veces he encargado figuras de ambos sitios (bbts y tfsource) y ambos han sido muy cumplidos y confiables. La única razón por la que te recomendaría un poco más Tfsource para este producto, es que manejan un precio ligeramente menor al de bbts, al menos cuando yo lo preordené. Saludos.

I think it's as close to perfection as it can, it only could get better if somewhow they'd have added a custom head for onslaught G1 styled

You could always painstakingly remove the original head from the irritating pin joint and replace it with head from a second Ruination you bought super cheap from e-bay.

Looks great in the combiner form but when you transform them all to little robots form, Blast Off and Swindle look out of place. They look so different.

HOWEVER... one thing that concerns me is that a couple of the figures (I'm looking at you, Onslaught) seem like they might be pretty back heavy. Of course, when you look that good, you don't need to be upright.

Actually with the PCC discussion about the Rally Team reminding people of Puzzler, I wouldn't mind seeing FP take on updating the go-bot combiner. Sure it would be pricey as each of the 6 would likely cost about the same as each Crossfire piece, but it could be impressive.

I couldn't agree with you more, Valandar. Hasbro could be turning out Combiners like this that would put shame to their Power Core Combiners line. Instead, they decided to disappoint yet again with the combiners by creating a Deluxe vehicle with four non-transforming drones. Did they learn nothing from their disappointing Energon Optimus Prime with his four drones from his trailer? Or how disappointed we fans were when ROTF Devastator came out with vehicles that didn't transform into individual robots. We fans had to hold out for the Legends version to get what we wanted. Hasbro needs to get in contact with FansProject so they can get schooled.

What's worse is that it's a SCOUT, not even a Deluxe.

Simply the coolest toy to be released in recent memory. I questioned whether I'd display this as Bruticus or as the separate figures but seeing these pictures pretty much guarantees he'll be on my shelf in all his combiner splendor. I can't wait to see what else FP has in the pipeline after this and Protector.

And this picture sums up why I just never felt Superion and sold the set. Where as Bruticus is proportioned almost perfectly, Superion just looks strange and awkward. His lack of a proper torso/waist makes his legs and arms just look too long.

Wow, this looks amazing. Any new updates on it's release date? The picture where he is packing the two blasters is amazing. Can't wait to get my hands on him. I wish FP would have put this much effort into the Superion kit though..

You know, there is no dispute how awesome this set is, but I have to laugh at these comments about Superion no longer measuring up.

The Superion set is still brilliant, The Aerialbots were 5 planes, the universe/energon team was the same, so yes it doesn't have as many extras, but then again it didn't need that much more unless they were to redo Silverbolt/StormJet. The Combaticons however would never be taken seriously by fans with Blast-Off and Swindle being recast into Vortex/Brawl twins. Thus FP had to step up their game if they wanted to wow us. They have and it's better than some of us could imagine it would be, but there is no need to scrap the fan love that's been heaped on the first crossfire set.

I don't think anyone is really downing the Superion set, merely drooling over what could have been. I imagine the same will be done about both sets if the put out a Devastator upgrade.

I love my Superion kit, but two new planes and some more weapons would have been amazing.

It probably won't make you feel better to know that the Target close to me had about a dozen of them (no joke) out. Glad I got one.

Hasbro's designers are capable of putting out stuff like this. But they have to design and produce toys for a market that's a lot bigger than adult collectors.

Not necessarily the best example seeing the release of the G1 mold angered some as it lowered the price of their Takara Stepper. and the Alternator release was a bit of a shelfwarmer.

The Crossfire set makes Superion 100 X better than he was originally. Superion has always had a very symmetrical look anyway, so there was no real need to add a lot of expencive parts.

Bruticus, on the other hand, needed a whole lot more to bring it up to his old look. And, I think, it was FP testing the waters to see what they could sell at what price.

I guess that's one way of looking at it. But you're going to get that sort of criticism from selfish collectors anyway whenever something's reissued. Hasbro did invest in the effort "to give collectors what they want" by reissuing Ricochet, because demand for him was supposed to be high. But it didn't sell.

When Hasbro release their versions of Masterpieces or Alternators, fans criticize them for nerfed missile launchers or blunted nosecones - when they should be writing to their congressional or state representative to get the toy safety laws changed so Hasbro doesn't have to make such changes to their toys.
