Previsouly, everyone was under the impression that RTS Rumble & Frenzy were coming in a Voyager Class two pack. But now that Hasbro has updated their online catalog giving us our first look at the new Scout Class Demolition Rumble. It doesn't take a brain scientist or rocket surgeon to realize that Frenzy will follow in a later wave. With the new images we're also treated to a new bio:

DEMOLITION RUMBLE is little more than a low-down dirty thug. Loudmouthed, violent and destructive, he’s the ultimate DECEPTICON foot soldier. He loves any mission that involves wholesale destruction. It’s not uncommon to hear his shrill, maniacal laughter as his pile drivers shake a structure to pieces.

G1 cartoon fans now have a nice fat middle finger to wave in the face of G1 comic fans. RIBFIR!

Well... at least in RTS.

Now if they really wanted to confuse everyone, the "United" version would switch them around!

So Robot Heroes Rumble was red, but Reveal The Shield Rumble is Blue....

im glad they are scouts! i didnt want to have rumble and frenzy to be bigger than soundwave the rotf wheelie was bigger than everybody 8-}

I... was never under the impression it was a Voyager two-pack. I figured Scouts for both of these guys.

And nobody knows which one is really which, except for maybe Soundwave. Still, for my personal tastes, I prefer for Rumble to be red and black, so in my book, we'll actually getting Frenzy first.

HA! The battle continues! Seriously, all this division over who is what color would've been grounds for a Crusade a thousand years ago! :lol:

Don't forget the Frenzy repaints that came with the various Barricades. Frenzy is silver, black, blue and red!

Still, I was hoping for a two pack that simply wouldn't label which one was which and talk about the general confusion in the bio.

Can you remove the guns in robot mode and place them on his back ??? I like the tank but the robot mode kind of blows. Glad I bought the perfect effect versions...

I would say yes, considering that the guns are on 3mm clips and that that's how we saw them in the prototype pictures earlier.

I hope Hasbro are run by a real sadistic bunch. After these photos, I'd love for this figure to be released in alternate packaging; one calling him Rumble and the other Frenzy, and the same for the red version. That'd really mess with everyone's head.

Cool to see these guys in Scout class - they'll make good companions to Scout Windcharger. Guess the combination gimmick is out of the window, unless they can combine and Hasbro will post the instructions on the internet, just like with Arcee 8-}
