norwichchris wrote:The reason Fortress Maximus is so expensive as he is both rare and absolutely massive compared to all the other transformers he is the largest single toy robot probably ever made. Someone will have to check that with me.

Now that is some pretty cash.
Speaking of which, I'm not up to date on the pounds-to-American dollar exchange. Anyone wanna help me here? If not, those still sound like big bucks.

There were actually two G1 Unicron prototypes made. The first and more well-known one by Hasbro, and a one derived from that mold created by Takara. It had different detailing, and would have come with a stand and get this: a moon. Both never made it to production.
Another attempt was made with Beast Wars Neo, but again, not past prototype stage. It was roughly Ultra sized and was basically a robot with the Northern Hemisphere on his back à la Cybertron Primus.

I think it was the takara one i saw. They should reissue that,
Anyway back to the discussion, My most expensive Transformer toy to date was my Giftset Menasor figure which was £220 off EBay. Long before the reissues came out.

"Reissues" of unreleased toys? They were unreleased for a reason, you know?
