[Flux Convoy]

I have the opportunity to buy a legit G1 Reflector and had it in hand tonight. Besides the stickers being reasonably worn for a 22-24 year old toy, it's fairly pristine. Always a plus and a must when I'm considering adding to my G1 collection. I did notice the camera lens would not attach to the camera mode at all though. Kinda curious why that might be. I'm unsure what I should be looking for, damage-wise. I'm mostly curious if others have this issue as well. I'd take some pointers on what I should look for as well or advice on what I might have been doing wrong. I suppose I could always replace the one piece but I'd want to make sure I wasn't simply missing something simple.

I'd say check the inside of the lens part for any stress marks or wear. The piece just kind of pops onto the small rim on Viewfinder's chest, so if there's anywhere that's warped or just worn down from overuse that might be it. The superglue/nail polish trick might be enough.

Without any pictures it's difficult to say for certain whats wrong. As previously suggested the obvious thing to do would be to look for any damage to the lens or to Veiwfinders chest.

The only other thing I could think it could be, is if the lens has been replaced with the lens from a Microx KO Reflector. They look very similar but the two are almost incompatible as the Microx lens is ever so slightly bigger than the original official Hasbro lens, and thus it doesn't fit correctly on Veiwfinders chest.

It is entirely possible that the figure or parts of it are KO. Having done a little solo research, it's almost impossible to tell for most of the parts. Sorry I was unable to snap and load pics.
