(clears throat) back to the topic, i just got my sideswipe and topspin yesterday, and i love them. paint or no paint, sideswipe is still a really good figure.

Still on the hunt for my Wave 2 DOTMs. I succeeded once when they came out to find them, but it was so unexpected, I didn't have money. :BOOM:

I was really only expecting to buy Prime, Bee, and Ratchet that day, so I bought enough money for them. Plus that's all I had enough money for *facepalm* I hate being teen.

Well I went to Walmart today and saw all of Wave 2 out. So I'm not too upset. I got Topspin

This is the first time I'm saying this about a wrecker:

Topspin is KICK ASS!

He's got like 5 freakin' guns! (4 of them aren't Mech Tech Weapons, the 5th one is his claw, anyway) and all this meshed on armor, he really makes Roadbuster look like a piece of slag, no offense to people who like Roadbuster.

I'm probably excited about him cuz he was the only one there, and I missed out on a chance to get him once, I wasn't going to do it again.

As I said, I saw all of Wave 2 there, so on the shelves I spotted Barricade, Jolt, and obviously Sideswipe. Shockwave and Skyhammer, they might have been there, I didn't bother to shuffle through the voyagers, but I do know they were there when I first went to buy TFs.

Again, KICK ASS!

I've only seen him in the store, but he does look pretty weak and unpainted. I think his robot mode on the cardback is solid looking, but just like Starscream he looks unpainted. And, Sideswipe is the figure that made me cognizant of how small the DOTM figures are. Also not a fan of him being a convertible. Other than all of that, I guess he's terrific.

But I'm not really trying to be all judgmental, since I didn't even buy him. I'm just making a few observations.

I got the last one from Toys R Us and I must say he is by far the best Sideswipe to date in my opinion. The legs are much sturdier and flexible, he stands up well, his blades are movie-accurate, his MechTech feature is a gun with a flip out knife, he's actually a bit larger in scale than most other DOTM deluxes...
need I say more?
