It is not a definate, but more than likely we will not see him. Why? Because he is a Target car. Even if we do see him it will be a Target exclusive as I don't see Target being cool with selling their brand at a Walmart and vice versa. Morons should have thought about that before signing Montoya's race team to the endorsement.

If that were true they wouldn't make any Leadfoot figures.

The only two they are making is the Legion class figure, which does not have any nascar related logos at all....hell, it doesn't even look like Leadfoot, and the HA Target exclusive version. I'm pretty sure that means they will not make one. But, you never know.

I feel confident that we will get a deluxe class Leadfoot. They've already given Wal-Mart a unique mold exclusive in the form of deluxe Optimus Prime, why not give another major retailer a unique mold exclusive. Especially one that already has their logo plastered all over it. For that matter this may be the reason Wal-Mart is getting their deluxe Prime. Or they could do a general release minus the Target logos and give Target a movie accurate exclusive. I just can't see them giving us two of three in deluxe form and not figuring out away to get the other one out. Not to mention the Cyberverse Leadfoot is a general release, they could use the same formula for the deluxe. There are multiple ways they can make this happen.

I happen to love Roadbuster. He's got enough articulation to pull off some good poses and an addicting weapon gimmick. For those who didn't notice, he's also got clip system bars on his rocket launchers, so you can give him more weapons. I'm thinking HA Basic Whirl's gatling guns and Backfire's machine guns would look awesome in vehicle mode.

It does seem weird that so many people are ready to accept that there won't be a dlx Leadfoot. If Walmart cared about logos, they wouldn't carry any Nascar toys. If they're willing to sell a Target stock car in the hot wheels aisle, they're willing to sell a Target branded TF.

Looking at pictures it looks like he has ankle knee and elbow pivots, turning head and bicep and thigh swivels. What's the problem with articulation?

I don't think he has ankle pivots, but yea...nothing wrong with his articulation. I don't know where people are coming from on that one.

It seems that these days if a figure doesn't have a waist swivel, people call it a "brick". :???:

Yeah - I DO call them bricks if it lacks a waist swivel....this is the 21st Centuary and if they can stick a waist on Classics Mirage there isn't much excuse for NOT including them regardless of the complexity of the Bot and transformation other than cheapness or laziness. This should go double on Masterpieces.

This guy isn't the worst articulated one out there so I don't totally get the complaint in this case but he is pretty underwhelming and I wont be bothering.

The Mech Tech is, but sadly, none of the other four guns can fit into Roadbuster's hole. They will just flop around there.

Crap I was afraid of that! Well thanks for the heads up! :VEHI:

I tested this.

Topspin's guns DO in fact fit with and work on Roadbuster.

Mystery solved.

I see, I just did more testing with his guns.

The side guns of Topspin don't go all the way in on Roadbuster's roof push hole. They pop right up, however, they stay in. This didn't work for me when I first got him. /:) Then TS's Roof Guns fit pretty good into RB's hole. Sturdy, however they don't always go in the way I plan them to.

I find his roof guns to work better with Roadbuster than his side guns.

There we go, almost all movie toys are bricks! That's it, I'm throwing out my leader Sentinel with his five points of articulation in each foot cos he's a brick. [/silliness] I don't understand why they leave out waist articulation so frequently. You can kind of fake it if the hips are good but they should include it more often.

I haven't read through all the posts, so I don't know if this has been pointed out. Wal-mart listed a deluxe leadfoot in their computers. It was called deluxe sponsor car #3 or something.

Anyway, I'm okay with Roadbuster. He's good enough to buy, but a little disappointing, I suppose. Mostly, it's the lack of paint detail and the relative simplicity of the DOTM toys compared to ROTF. Also, I'm not nearly as impressed with his Mechtech weapon as some of you guys.

I like Roadbuster.

CB, just grab one at WalMart. If you want a movie figure, he's $10 of fun.

His weapon on the other hand is $20 worth of fun.

So as you can see, there's a considerable bargain to be had.

SOLD.. Thanks!

Agreed. For the money, he is worth getting. For the money AND the gun, you might as well for sure. I do like Topspin a lot more though. I think his bot mode is great, and I love the ridiculous amount of weaponry in both modes. It is glorious. Crankcase is not my favorite though. Kinda wish I would have passed on that one.

I'm certainly holding out for an armed car mode version of roadbuster. To me, that's the appeal of these guys. They look like something out of twisted metal.
We get like 4-7 versions of bumblebee each movie, I hope we get one more of roadbuster.

Yeah, the vehicle mode is rather plain (I'm guessing Hasbro wasn't going to get licensing for all those sponsors); I'm halfway tempted to pick up a set of 1/32 #88 AMP decals to finish him off. Or, since I have a scan of the 2008 decals, see if Reprolabels would be interested... :-?

I see, I just did more testing with his guns.

The side guns of Topspin don't go all the way in on Roadbuster's roof push hole. They pop right up, however, they stay in. This didn't work for me when I first got him. /:) Then TS's Roof Guns fit pretty good into RB's hole. Sturdy, however they don't always go in the way I plan them to.

I find his roof guns to work better with Roadbuster than his side guns.

Thanks for making me double check. What's up with my plastic 0_o

Okay so to hell with the guns being mounted anywhere else. Can both sets be held in the fists or just 1 or the other? :VEHI:

Neither Topspin or Roadbuster have hands that can hold a gun, they're open. Otherwise, I don't understand your question.
