[Flux Convoy]

Just finished putting together the Kabaya Ginrai. Great little figure!

Me too! I got the full God Ginrai, and they look great. even a couple improvements over the original, such as the way the legs on God Bomber attach and such.

Anyways, I have infinite love for Powermaster Prime and thus God Ginrai. I still have my original PM Prime, the very first Prime toy I ever owned, all busted up and missing accessories. I could never bring myself to part with him, so he's kept safely in storage, while the Japanese God Ginrai reissue goes in my display. I'm a fan of almost all the improvements (especially the retractable fists), although I actually like the shape of the plastic cab more. I guess it's just a nostalgia thing. But yeah, Powermaster Prime is up there on my list of all-time favorites.

I need those couple kits. I was trying to avoid them since I don't truly need them. However, those look cool as hell!

A bunch of what you said is the same as my situation. My original has been dismantled and cleaned of stickers for years. He's also got the aged plastic look which I'm going to attempt fixing and eventually add Reprolabels. The chrome isn't so great and he's got some rusty screw that need work or replacing but he is complete and I love it. The figure deserves to be refurbished and displayed eventually and this has sparked my interest to work on it again. Perhaps I'll get to this after Botcon.

I combined mine straight away. I got a case so I actually have enough to display them in all the different versions, can't wait to put them into my Prime/Convoy cabinet with the others.

You should. They're great little figures. I've gotten them since the first series and have never been disappointed by any of them.

Nice, you really should! I was actually going to restore my original and went so far as buying the black guns on eBay, but then I managed to find and MIB God Ginrai reissue for a very good price, so I did that instead.

As for the Kabaya kits, they are great. I use them as WST stand-ins, thus I only buy the ones that don't have a WST version, and I also skip all the classics ones. In Ginrai's case, he's in perfect scale with WST Convoy!

Haha yeah they're a little fiddly, but I'm impressed that there's minimal dismantling involved for transforming Ginrai, at least. Godbomber gets away with it because the original was already a partsformer.

I combined them pretty quick too. And then I had to uncombine them and put the stickers on.

That's pretty sweet, being able to display them in all modes, that would look awesome.
